Intentional Healing – My heart opened

Finished watching Beloved. For the 17th time…  The teachings are so deep and so wide.  Connecting me to my past, my ancestors, my history and my spirit on so many levels.  I didn’t cry this time.  When I first saw it in the movie theatre in 1998, I sobbed hard and long.  I was touched so deeply.  I had no words, only groans and sobs.  Tonight when Mama Suggs (played by the beautiful Beah Richards) said “love your heart” my heart opened and expanded as it seems to do more and more often. I looked around inside.  There was no sadness, no trauma or hurt, nothing to be healed.  It was open.

I am so grateful for my life, my work, and the many lessons and teachings I have received over my lifetime thus far.  I can’t advocate for doing your deep inner work more powerfully than the testimony of my life.

The intention of healthy, happy and whole was for my children.  That intention required that I learn to do it for myself because you can’t teach what you don’t know.  And together my children and I have healed our lives and learned together what it takes.  And on my journey, I shared generously what I was learning with anyone who asked.

My rewards are so great I can’t even count all of my blessings.

One thing it required was that I get control of my ego, my thoughts and my words.  Being clear on my intentions, move away from judgement and learn to love myself just the way God made me.  To love myself, I had to learn who I was and what I wanted to become.  I had to connect deeply with as much of my past as possible, my ancestors, our collective history, past lives and relationship with as much honesty as I could.

I learned I have a pure heart and spirit.  I learned that I have had many lives.  I learned that forgiveness is healing.  I learned to forgive myself and rebuild the trust I have with me. To trust myself again, that was big.  I learned to see the lesson and blessing in every experience; to rejoice in life and in death when we return to our God, the Creator and are one again with the divine energy that is pure love.  I remembered how to be in awe of the natural world.  I learned how to be curious about people again and how they think, do , see and experience the world.  I learned to listen again, deeply to my spirit and trust the wisdom and knowledge it shared.  I am still learning to listen.  And I am still learning so many things.

Manifestation – Opportunity is Endless

butterfly12

Our culture of instant gratification is getting in our way – Anything worth having is worth working for….

Sticking with your vision and putting in the work, that is what is required on every level.  Spiritually, Emotionally, and Mentally.

  1. Spiritually, faith is required. The belief and discernment of faith is manifested by looking within to understand what is needed to create and hold your vision.
  2. Emotionally, paying attention to your emotions and centering and grounding to keep them in check so you avoid negative emotional rants that take you off your center and move you away from your confidence.
  3. Mentally, holding your thoughts and words in alignment with your vision and wants. Words have power.  Thought is a form of action. Both manifest your reality.

These are the keys to manifestation.  Then you can join in clarity with others who also practice the art of manifestation.  They hold your vision with you, agree with you and help you manifest your dreams faster. And you do the same for them.

And if those individuals also agree with you with those actions or strategies, amazing things can happen.

Opportunity is endless when you open your mind, spirit, and body to what is really possible and what you really want. To do this takes something.  We are all challenged in some way by life’s blocks, obstacles, hurts, emotional scars.  Life Mapping holds the possibility of healing and moving to a place of peace, joy, happiness and the muscle to sustain that states of being and manifest your ideal lifestyle.  It only takes you moving in faith a few steps each day.  And with support of a community of practice, it doesn’t have to take longs (not as long as its taken me).  And you can enjoy your life and the learning process every day.

The Art of Manifestation

The act of manifestation is to create something tangle from a thought, an idea, a concept in your mind or spirit and make it real in the physical world.  That’s our company’s motto.  “We help you make your visions real. “  I have dedicated my life to helping people make their visions real, facilitating the art of manifestation, mapping your future and making your vision real.  And in the process, use spiritual principles and practical actions to support individuals and organizations being healthy, happy, and whole.

And in order to do that fully – In order to understand the intricacies of that process and all that can get in the way, and what it takes to do avoid those pitfalls.  I had to do it for myself.  And at this point in my life I can truly say I am healthy, happy, and whole and I love my life without question or pause or but.

I have been putting this technology to the work.  I have dug deep into the lessons of my life, , my consciousness, my mind, my emotions, my spirit.  I learned from others.  I accepted help and guidance.  I listened to my spirit.  I worked through my doubts and fears and now I am on the other side and I have the privilege and I honored to share my journey, my learnings and the teaching I received and the process that will get you there if you are ready to transform your life and your world.  I am ready to show you the path.

The Technology of Doing Creating and Being is the process and Life Mapping is the structure that allows you to move through a process to heal, transform, and manifest your deepest dreams and desires and begin to do your perfect work in the world.

Its no accident that you are here.  Its in the perfection that the Universe that you get to receive this information at this time and in this place.

I am so blessed as you are to have this time together.  My hope that what you have read today will support you on your journey. I am blessed supremely to have gotten this far on my journey to be able to share what I have learned with you.  It is my dream come true.  It is my perfect work in the world.

Useful Planning Tools

Why Strategy – Another reason

Strategies are a tool to help you stay focused.  The value of having a Life Map strategy is that it helps you to stay on your path and see opportunities when they present themselves.  It is a simple way to stay focused on what needs to be done.

It also helps you know when to say ‘no’ and pass on opportunities that don’t support your progress. For example, as an entrepreneur, I meet a lot of other people who own or want to own their own business.  Many of them have chosen businesses that are based on a tiered marketing model like Mary Kay, Warm Spirit or VM Direct. They are very excited about their opportunities and they want me to partner with them because they see me as having an expansive network that would support their businesses.  In their eyes, it would be a win-win situation because it would make money for me  as well.  Because my strategies are clear, I can say no to their lovely offers because I know they would create a detour on the road to taking my company where I want it to go.  I also know how much energy it takes to market and manage my own business. To veer away from that to work on something that’s unrelated to my work is not something that I need to do. Being clear that these opportunities don’t serve me, enables me to graciously say no, but it doesn’t preclude me from offering them support in ways that make sense for me.

There is so much going on in the world, so much information and mis-information that it is easy to get off track.  My hope is that armed with your strategies, you will have a tool to make everyday count towards the journey to making your vision real.

So, now you have your vision, your current reality and your strategies.  Sit with this accomplishment a moment before moving on to the next chapter.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions….

MKM_Decisions

Do What You Can Do

How do you know where to start? Which thing should you do first and how do you decide? The best choices are based on your understanding of how to get from your point A to point Z.  I know a real estate agent who had a lucrative hobby of buying and renovating houses.  Bobbie was successful at it because she had the process down to a science.  She could close on a house and remodel it in about four to six weeks—before the first mortgage payment was due. The key to being able to move this efficiently is in knowing the best way to sequence the process. If you have the right plan and execute it in the right order, you can avoid delays or “re-do’s” later.  In this case, for example, she knew to schedule the floor tile guy at a certain time so he was not in the electrician’s way.  But she didn’t know this the first time she rehabbed a house. It took some trial and error, some investigation and consultation with experts. All of these are action steps that eventually brought her to peak efficiency and effectiveness.

Other processes are not nearly so linear.  For instance, in writing this book, I created my vision for the book first. I started out by just writing down my ideas.  I put things in order later.  I knew that if I worried about the order, I would get stuck. My priority was to get moving so that I wouldn’t get in my own way by getting mentally trapped. The lesson:  Sometimes you just need to take the first step; put things in proper order later. Do what you can do.

When I did my Ideal Day exercise, I saw myself doing tai chi and yoga out on the balcony outside my bedroom.  Well, at the time, I didn’t know Tai Chi nor did I have a balcony.  I could have decided to wait for the balcony, but my first step was to buy a tai chi video and start practicing in my living room once a week. That was my way of putting my foot on the gas—getting on the road headed in the direction of my vision.   A few years later, I bought a house.  One day during the purchase process I was sitting in the driveway, I looked up and my eyes filled with tears as I realized that my bedroom had a balcony.  My dream was being fulfilled.

Start with what you can do now.  Pick what makes sense to focus on now.  The rest will come when it is time.  One note:  Pay attention to procrastination.  Sometimes it’s more important to leave the kitchen dirty and work on that resume or business plan or give the children the extra attention they need, than it is to get everything on the list done.  If you find yourself doing everything else but your priority task, stop, sit with your feelings and see what you are afraid of that is keeping you from doing what is really needed.  I often fall into the “I have to wash the dishes first before I can start writing my book” syndrome.  Sometimes it is procrastination because of fear, sometimes it is that thoughts and ideas are marinating and need a little more time to gel.  Now, I can stop for a moment, check in with myself and see what is going on – then make a conscious decision about what I am going to do.
